Heal Her Heart is proud to announce Yoga Sundays at SHOES.COM!

Heal Her Heart believes in the use of physical activity to nourish and align the mind, body, and spirit connection as it relates to healing and recovery.

Now starting on Sundays:

A one hour yoga class facilitated by instructor Cassandra Cornacchia held at SHOES.COM: 356 Queen St W, Toronto.

Each session Cassandra works to restore one of the eight chakras.

Casandra strives to empower women in yoga practises using a holistic framework rooted in spirituality, building self esteem, healing from trauma and transforming anxiety, depression and anger.

Classes are designed to accommodate people of all physical abilities.

Week 1: Root Chakra - we will practise posture and meditative exercises that focus on the feelings of being grounded, connected, safe, and secure in ones body and mind.

Week 2: Sacral Chakra - focuses on activating and healing the reproductive area of the body and learning how to become aware of and how to release difficult emotions and memories held in this area of the body.

Week 3: Solar Plexus - focuses on strengthening the core, releasing self doubt to cultivate confidence and increasing energy.

Week 4: Heart Chakra - focuses on opening and healing the heart center and becoming aware of tensions held in the heart.

Week 5: Throat Chakra - focuses on clearing and strengthening our communication, learning ways to release tension in the neck, throat and upper back.

Week 6: Third Eye Chakra - focuses on learning how to become an observer of thoughts and emotions.

Week 7: Crown Chakra - focuses on creating a deeper sense of connectedness with the space around us.

Week 8: Creating a Home Practise - we will finish by discussing ways to create a strong and lasting at home yoga practise that is accessible at any time and with any budget.
