Heal Her Heart and Pretty Wings believes in the use of physical activity to nourish and align the mind, body, and spirit connection as it relates to healing and recovery.

Now starting on Sundays:

A one hour yoga class facilitated by instructor Cassandra Cornacchia held at STEPS Dance Studio: 819 Yonge Street, Toronto.

Each session Cassandra works to restore one of the eight chakras.

Cassandra is a certified yoga instructor, with a background in social work, psychology, and mindfulness. She is inspired to hold spaces where everyone feels supported to learn from one another and grow together. She believes that learning to heal, love, be kind and be at peace with ourselves, is the first step in healing the world.

Classes are designed to accommodate people of all physical abilities. Every class will include mindfulness practices, yoga postures, compassion meditations, sound healing, and reflective exercises, geared towards balancing a specific chakra. You will be supported in cultivating your own personal practice that can grow with you wherever you are in your life. This program aims to share exciting insight into the mind-body-heart connection to inspire personal healing; self-compassion and a renewed honoring of ones own sacredness.

Week 1: Root Chakra - The Root Chakra is at the base of the spine and is connected to our ability to feel grounded, connected, safe, and secure within our world and ourselves. This class will focus on balancing the Root Chakra through a series of physical postures, meditations, sound healing, and reflective exercises.

Week 2: Sacral Chakra - The Sacral Chakra is in the area of the lower abdomen and is connected to our ability to feel intimate, accepting, abundant and creative within ourselves and within our relationships with others. This class will focus on balancing the Sacral Chakra through a series of physical postures, meditations, sound healing, and reflective exercises.

Week 3: Solar Plexus - The Solar Plexus Chakra is in the area of the upper abdomen and is connected to our ability to feel self-worth, confidence, positive power and a sense of purpose in our lives. This class will focus on balancing the Solar Plexus through a series of physical postures, meditations, sound healing and reflective exercises.

Week 4: Heart Chakra - The Heart Chakra is in the center of the chest and is connected to our ability to receive and radiate love, joy and compassion within our selves and within our relationships. This class will focus on balancing the Heart Chakra through a series of physical postures, meditations, sound healing and reflective exercises.

Week 5: Throat Chakra - The Throat Chakra is located in the throat/neck and is connected to our ability to communicate authentically, express feelings, and embody truth. This class will focus on balancing the Throat Chakra through a series of physical postures, meditations, sound healing and reflective exercises.

Week 6: Third Eye Chakra - The Third Eye Chakra is located in the forehead between the eyes and is connected to our ability to feel insight, intuition, imagination and wisdom. This class will focus on balancing the Third Eye Chakra through a series of physical postures, meditations, sound healing and reflective exercises.

Week 7: Crown Chakra - The Crown Chakra is located at the very top of the head and is connected to our ability to feel peaceful, blissful, beautiful, bountiful and at one within ourselves. This class will focus on balancing the Crown Chakra through a series of physical postures, meditations, sound healing and reflective exercises.

Week 8: Creating a Home Practise - A closing session dedicated to inspire ways to create a nourishing, healing and rejuvenating at home, personal practice. You will be supported in creating your very own yoga practice that can flourish into a safe, comforting, and compassionate personal space wherever you are in your life.
